East European Politics and Societies (EEPS) is an international, interdisciplinary journal for the examination of critical issues related to eastern Europe. It serves as a forum for current work in East Europe studies, including comparative analyses and theoretical issues with implications for other world areas.

  • The editorial board is composed of distinguished historians, cultural historians, literary scholars, political scientists, anthropologists, and social scientists. See the full list.

  • In addition to stand-alone articles, EEPS is open to publishing clusters of papers dedicated to specific themes. The journal does not normally publish book reviews, but may consider proposals for review essays, particularly relating to important work published in the region. See full details.

Flying University for Ukrainian Students (FUUS) demonstrates the value of the humanities in a war zone.  FUUS courses are led by North American professors in English for Ukrainian students whose lives have been disrupted by the war. Students gain strength to keep on, despite everything, and, once an independent Ukraine is secure, to rebuild and flourish.
